On January 25, representatives of the delegation from Russia visited the international department of the Ministry of Higher Education in Pakistan (the city of Islamabad). The delegation included representatives from the Moscow State University of Statistics and Informatics, Moscow State Technological University «STANKIN» and delegation from BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

On February 28, 16 students of technical, economic and philological specializations from Pristina and Nish universities in Serbia received certificates of course completion in Russian as a foreign language, which was held at the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. During their stay in Russia, many Serbian guests significantly improved Russian language, and some of them learned to speak Pushkin's language almost from scratch.

On April 16, the Executive Director of ENERGOCONSULT company (Praha, Czech Republic) Jan Petr visited the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. This company with different kind of activities. At present, representatives of Czech economic circles are interested in developing cooperation with the Russian regions - this was the main topic of discussion with the rector of the university, Doctor of Economic Sciences, prof. S.N. Glagolev.

On April 9, representatives of the German House of Science and Innovations met with the heads of the departments, young scientists and students of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The issues of cooperation between the two countries in the educational and scientific fields were discussed during the preliminary conversation with representatives of the BSTU administration.  The aim of the event was to inform the university's scientific community about the activities of German scientific organizations in Russia. An important component of the project is to encourage students to engage in scientific activities, identify new scientific talents and create conditions that enhance the opportunities for young scientists to integrate into international scientific networks and internationalize cooperation in science, education, research and technology.

On July 24, a delegation of German representatives, interested in cooperation with BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov visited our universityThe delegation was composed of the president of the Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola (THGA), Professor Jurgen Kretschmann and specialist in surveying matters Karl Kleinberg. The result of the meeting was the signing of a cooperation agreement between BSTU and THGA.

Professor Satia Prakash Nadarajan, the Director of a large Malaysian students recruiting company for studying abroad (SP CARE SON BHP) visited BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. During the meeting, the issues of prospects training of Malaysian students in BSTU were discussed. Currently, this country is experiencing an acute shortage in the staff of the technical specialization. In addition, the Malaysian side is interested in the development of educational and scientific exchanges in the field of architecture, electronics, computer technologies, which have been widely developed in the country. The idea of ​​developing a program of double degree diplomas evoked mutual interest. The representative of this Indonesian country expressed readiness to provide interesting curricula. In addition, the company, which he represents, is ready to organize meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Education of Malaysia. Since Malaysia is an English-speaking country, great interest was caused by the fact that implementing of English program is ongoing in BSTU.

This is the first visit of Kingdom of Morocco delegation to the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.  The visit took place on September 23^rd. Guests traditionally laid flowers at the monument to the great engineer, whose name with honor has our university.

 The delegation met with the Rector of the University, Professor S.N. Glagolev and shared their first impressions of their stay at the university. They were impressed of the beauty and uniqueness of the campus, convenient location of training, residential buildings, social infrastructures. The main purpose of the visit of the delegation - to establish cooperation in the field of science, the exchange of experience in the field of education.

Parties also discussed the training of scientific and teaching staff, students and graduate students. Of particular interest are present and caused the opening of the center of the Russian language in Morocco.

On September 25 - 26 a meeting of the Board of the Association of Construction Universities and the Presidium of the Council of the Educational and Methodological Association of Russian Higher Educational Institutions in the field of construction was held at the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. Scientific schools and the names of university scientists are well known far beyond Russia. Innovative technologies in the field of construction industry and construction are successfully used today at the leading construction companies in Russia and abroad. And most importantly, the university is constantly developing, expanding the list of specialties and, having a huge impact on the development of the economy of the Belgorod region.

On October 1, the delegation from the Hulunbuir University visited the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. There agreement was signed between two institutions. It includes training of future professionals: Chinese students arrive in Belgorod and our student will visit China. Also there is an exchange program between the faculties. Teacher from our university (T.P. Matyushkina) has trained students from Hulunbuir University.

On October 23 a delegation of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan visited Belgorod state technological university named after V.G. Shukhov, which included the Deputy Secretary General for Parliamentary and Legislative Affairs of the Upper House of the National Assembly, Associate Professor Shah Sultan Akifi and Policy Advisor of UN Mission, Dr. Amin Mohammad Zaman. The purpose of the visit was to expand partnership between Afghanistan and our university, as well as discussing questions of scientific and cultural exchange.

A representative of the University of Pretoria (South Africa), Professor Visser Alex Teo, visited our university. The South African guest stayed about a week at the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. He discussed the problems of the development of road construction with the Russian colleagues and gave a few lectures for students during his staying.
