On March 1, the delegation of the Ecole des Mines d'Ales (France) visited BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The topics one exchange of experience, lectures and presentations of foreign specialists in construction material science in the form of webinar, implementation of joint scientific projects within the framework of the agreement were discussed.

The delegation of the embassy and the Ministry of Education of the Sultanate of Oman headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Russia Mr. Mohammad Awad Abdul Rahman Al-Hassan visited BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The purpose of the meeting is to fulfill the bilateral agreement, strengthen business and scientific ties between the two countries, and increase the number of students from Oman at our university.

The dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences of the municipal college of Honolulu University (Hawaii, USA) Charles Sasaki paid an official visit to our university. An agreement on cooperation was signed.

On May 4, our university received the delegation of Kharkov National Academy of Municipal Economy (KNAME. The purpose of the visit of our Ukrainian colleagues, was the development of cooperation in the educational environment, learning experiences of distance education institution at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, signing cooperation agreements and the establishment of regional information and methodological center of distance education in Kharkiv.

On May 7, 2012 Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by a delegation of representatives of the University of Nis (Serbia. The purpose of the visit was further cooperation between the Faculty of Economics, University of Nis and the Institute of Economics and Management at BSTU. Shukhov, as well as development of joint exchange programs for academic staff and students.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by a delegation from Belgorod’s twin city of Herne (Germany). The purpose of the visit of the Germans is acquaintance with the culture, life, health, education system of the city of Belgorod.

International educational delegation visited the university. The delegation included agents from Ghana, Bulgaria, Singapore, France, and India. The purpose of the visit is to better access global educational markets.

The visit of the delegation from the Ministry of higher Education and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Iraq. During the three weeks of their stay the guests visited universities in Belgorod. They attended a course of lectures on energy conservation and management, got familiarized with the scientific schools of the university, its trends and innovations. 

A group of French students arrived in Belgorod. During one month, young people will learn Russian language under the program «Study + leasure».

A delegation of the Republic of Zambia represented by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Russia Mr. Frederick Shumba Hapunda and Education Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia to the Russian Federation Mr. Michael Mundambo Laimo arrived at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov on a two-day business visit. Zambian representatives visited the local government office and had a meeting with V.A. Sergachev. the First Deputy Governor of Belgorod region, Head of Personnel Policy of Belgorod region. 

Visit of the delegation of the Republic of Benin: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin to the Russian Federation Mr. Anisette Gabriel Kochofa and Mayor of the commune Abomei Kalavi Mr. Patrice Honsu Gade. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen and expand the many-sided cooperation, both with BSTU and with the city of Belgorod. The guests visited the city administration, where they met with the deputy head of the administration - the head of the staff of the city administration A.A. Garmashev.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by the delegation of Makerere University (Uganda). Among the 14 leading scholars and professors of the university was a Nobel Laureate, Professor Tom Otiti, who received the symbolic mantle of Honorary Doctor of BSTU. During this event the parties discussed interaction between universities, expansion of international scientific and educational space.

The visit of the delegation of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. They visited to the higher educational institutions of Belgorod. Also they made up a plan for 2013.
